Stop 33 / State 15 (again): Tobyhanna, PA
We're at the only stage of our trip where our trip West is retracing some of the areas that we hit on the way East. It's almost unavoidable. Yesterday, it was the Catskills (though we were much farther South than before). Today, were in the Poconos (a different part of the Poconos). Tomorrow, we'll be near Harrisburg (which is very close to Gettysburg). After tomorrow, it's all new ground. Here's today's Pennsylvania sign:
I finally found the adhesive US map that I've been looking for yesterday. Until yesterday, I'd only seen them online and it's kind of tough ordering online when you're constantly moving. This is a clear vinyl adhesive sheet that has a black outline map of the US printed on it. As you visit each state, you apply that state's sticker to its spot. I've installed it on the trailer door. I was actually looking for one that had solid color states but beggars can't be choosers.
Our campground here is very nice and we managed to arrive right after a rain squall and get set up just before the next squall. We're supposed to get some pretty heavy thunder showers this afternoon and tonight. This campground has the best Wi-Fi that we've seen anywhere. We were surprised to discover that the Wi-Fi antenna is about 5 feet outside our window.
