Stop 31 (actually stop 29 again) / States 18 & 17 (again): Rutland, MA
So today it was back to B&G's house through New Hampshire ...
and into Massachusetts (Kristen insists that I point out that all of the state signs to date were photographed through the windshield of a moving vehicle while I was able to walk over to this one at a rest stop).
And back to the house. We had a rough time backing into the driveway today. It was hot and sticky and I was a little bit out of practice with my trailer backing skills. Not good when you're stopping traffic for the maneuver. I know now that I should have taken a minute to practice. That's what I've done in the past on mornings when I knew that backing-up was in the near future (most of our sites have been pull-throughs). At any rate, we survived and the marriage will endure.
Tomorrow, I'm off to Providence, RI to get the truck's AC fixed and then we'll be back on the road on Tuesday.
